Mother and Child

Mother and Child.

This post is my third in the color challenge by my friend Sandy Powell. Today’s color is pink, as in pink coneflower. I chose this one because it always reminds me of a Mother nudging her child along, while keeping her protective hands close by. Today, 15 years ago, I lost my Mother. I know in those 15 years she has always had her hands on my shoulders helping me along as I walk through life. She was the one who taught me to garden. She gave me my appreciation of simple things like the flowers in your yard. I miss her, but I know she is there watching over me each and every day.

I am going to ask my friend Ken Hubbard to join in on the challenge of posting 5 color images over 5 days. I know he has nothing to do (haha) since the Tamron Tailgate Tour is over for the year.
