An “All-in-One” Hawk

An “All-in-One” Hawk.

No, it isn’t the type of bird but instead the lens I used! I absolutely love the versatility and sharpness of the Tamron 16-300mm Di-II VC PZD Macro lens. I find myself using it for the majority of my work. I was photographing the Annual Picnic of the Mountain Conservation Trust of Georgia and decided I would shoot some images of the hawks with the lens as well as my longer lens. This image is zoomed in to 300mm (480mm equivalent on the Canon 7D) and at the widest aperture opening. I was hand-holding the camera utilizing the VC feature as well.
